The subpanel

60 A feed, 240 V, ten breakers, two of them lying about what they control (corrected below — the previous owner labelled by intuition).

  1. Bench outlets — 20 A, GFCI first in chain.
  2. Dust collector — its own circuit; a saw and a vacuum sharing a breaker is how projects end early.
  3. Lights — never on a bench circuit. You want to see the breaker you just tripped.
