Guardian Identity

You don’t need an account to plant a thought. You need one to keep it. Here is everything an account is — and everything it isn’t.

Signing in (no password, ever)

Open the Command Palette (Cmd+K or ::) → ::login:

  1. Enter your email
  2. Type the 6-digit code from your inbox
  3. First time? Choose your username — it becomes your address: standard.garden/@username

After your first login, set up a passkey (FaceID / TouchID) — next time, signing in is one touch. No password exists anywhere, so none can leak.

What an account gives you

Your API key

What an account is NOT

No profile to perform. No follower count to grow. No notifications to clear. An account here is a key to permanence, not an identity to maintain. The only thing that accumulates is your writing.
